The Time is Now
Live From the War in Israel Day 24
I do not have a degree in public relations and am perhaps too old to have a real pulse on things, but I really believe that we are losing the information war, and there are better ways to handle it. Some people may not think it matters, but it does.
We all knew that the world would turn on us quickly once the numbers of Palestinian dead increased.
So did Hamas. This was their plan. It has worked several times in the past, so they are right to think that.
The issue always comes down to numbers. For most people, because they do not really understand the issues, the only thing that matters is how many people are dying, especially children.
Israel is not addressing this issue. They should be, and this is my suggestion on how.
I was watching several weekly news programs from the USA. In both cases, people from the American government tried to explain Israel's right to defend itself. Both times the anchor brought up dead children.
In my mind, this shows one of two things. Either the anchor does not have a true grasp of the issues, or they are anti-Semitic.
I am not someone who believes that everyone who is anti-Israel is anti-Semitic (although many are), but when you are implying that we are purposely killing children, what else can it be?
We are not calling them out on this. If I were an Israeli government spokesperson, I would ask the news person the following questions:
Do you think that Israel is targeting children? It is an easy enough question whose answer will let everyone know what we are dealing with. A "yes" answer should be followed by the following question.
Do you think that a high casualty rate of children is in Israel's benefit or Hamas's?
A negative answer to the first question should be followed up with:
Why do you think the casualty rate is so high?
These are easy questions, and the answers and follow-up can tell a lot.
For about a week, most news organizations were forced to agree that perhaps the numbers coming from Gaza might not be real. I say "forced" because it is hard to be a news outlet and disagree with the president of the USA. However, there is now a workaround. Now the numbers are being quoted from the UNWRA as well as the Red Cross. The implication is that perhaps we cannot trust numbers coming from the Hamas Government, but surely international agencies are telling the truth. So here are some more questions.
Do you think organizations such as the UN and Red Cross are free to tell the truth about what is going on in Gaza? Just last week, the UNRWA said Hamas was taking their fuel but then retracted. Why do we think that was?
TTo prove the point, these same organizations told us last week that all hospitals will run out of fuel by last Tuesday. Almost a week has gone by, and this seems not to be the case. So far it seems the lights are on. How is this possible? Israel is not sending in fuel, and Hamas says they don't have any. Where did it come from? If there is no fuel, how does Hamas have fuel to move their rocket launchers and fire rockets, which they are still doing all day?
Of course, all of this seems logical, but it doesn't matter because even if the numbers are not correct and inflated, most people agree that thousands have been killed. That will be stressed and we need to fight back.
Is this a numbers game? Should Israel be forced to live next to a territory run by a homicidal terrorist organization committed to killing all Jews in Israel and then around the world?
If you are Israel, how would you handle this? Would you sacrifice the ability for your children to live in peace? How is Hamas removed?
Do you think Hamas wants a two-state solution? Their charter says they will fight against it.
If you were told to evacuate because an army was about to destroy the area you were in, would you leave? Perhaps it's not fair, but would you leave?
How is it that you don't mention how many terrorists were killed? Doesn't it make a difference? Without sounding cruel, doesn't the ratio matter? Wouldn't showing that two civilians are killed for every terrorist killed show massive restraint?
Here are a few more.
If Cuba came to Florida and slaughtered and tortured 40,000 Americans and took 4,000 children, women, elderly, etc., hostage, how would you want your county to respond?
The media has to be called out. Almost every outlet in the world is making this a numbers game, and everyone implies that Israel is indiscriminately killing children. This is the issue that will force the world to force us to stop. We will need to live in Israel knowing that given the chance our neighbors would literally tear us apart. Polling is showing that close to a majority of Democrats in the USA think Israel needs to stop now. How long will politicians support Israel if they think they will not be reelected?
I know many people around the world want to know how they can help. This is how. Everyone who can needs to stand up for Israel. This is the time. The war will end as soon as public opinion against us becomes too great, and we can't let that happen until Hamas can no longer function and threaten our existence. News outlets are implying that Israel is a country of bloodthirsty animals looking for revenge. This is not being done overtly; they are much too smart for that.
The time is now to stick up for Israel. I can tell you it is very disheartening seeing larger rallies in major American cities supporting Hamas than there are supporting Israel. NYC should have 100,000+ at rallies supporting Israel. There should be a march on Washington of Jews and our evangelical supporters that brings 500,000 to the seat of government. These are not impossible goals.
This needs to be done as soon as possible.
Hamas and the Palestinians are winning the public opinion war. If they succeed, they will win the other war as well.

Yo are totally correct and I challenge you to organise this march on Washington. We need to mobilise to defend ourselves
